CS2 Armory Update - New Features and Charms (October 2024)
Valve recently rolled out one of the biggest updates for Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), introducing the Armory Update, packed with exciting new features! Whether you're into collecting weapon skins, charms, or just looking to freshen up your loadout, this update brings something for everyone.
What’s Included in the CS2 Armory Update?
Weapon Charms: Personalize your favorite weapons with Weapon Charms. You can attach them anywhere on your weapon, and they feature cool dangling animations. Not sure where to place them? Be mindful—they interact physically with the weapon model, so place them carefully!
New Weapon Collections:
Overpass 2024 Collection: Skins inspired by the Overpass map, featuring graffiti-style designs.
Graphic Collection: Vibrant, geometric skins like the AWP CMYK and AK-47 Crossfade.
Sport & Field Collection: Minimalistic skins like the highly coveted M4A1-S Fade.
Gallery Case: This new weapon case features skins designed by the CS2 community. Highlights include the M4A1-S Vaporwave and the rare Kukri Knife.
Stickers and Scrape Tool: Two new sticker collections are available—Character Craft and Elemental Craft. You can now also preview and precisely adjust sticker wear levels with the new scrape level slider.
Armory Pass System
Unlock the full potential of the Armory Pass, where you can earn credits with every XP gained. Credits can be redeemed for weapon skins, charms, and more. You can stack up to five Armory Passes at once, maximizing your rewards.
Is the Armory Pass Worth It?
It depends! If you're a dedicated player who loves collecting skins and charms, the Armory Pass offers great value. However, as with all loot-based systems, there's always an element of luck.
Final Thoughts
The CS2 Armory update has taken customization to a new level, making it a must-explore feature for any CS2 fan. Whether you want to deck out your loadout with unique skins or show off a cool charm, this update brings tons of opportunities.
