CS2 update: replay tools, AUG timing, and a small server-side reminder
Valve's October 14 update adds a download progress bar to the demo and replay viewer, lets you use free and chase cameras while playback is paused, and fixes a few seeking issues. It also adjusts AUG reload animations so they better match the weapon's updated reload duration.[1]
For server owners, the patch changes one detail that is easy to miss: round backup files now require the startup flag. If you rely on round backups for a community server, check the launch parameters before the next match night.[1]
The update also adds an explicit allowed list for radio commands, includes a new material for Workshop tools, and mentions Vulkan stability improvements.[1]
Have you noticed a practical difference in replay review or server administration after the patch? Post your setup and what changed for you. Specific launch options, replay issues, and Workshop observations are especially useful.
