CS2 Anubis callouts: the 40 names on the map, what each one means, and the order to learn them in

Anubis is the only community-made map in the CS2 Active Duty map pool, and it is the one most players have the fewest names for. The list below comes from Total CS, which keeps an interactive map and a searchable table of 40 callout names for Anubis. The same page says the map and its callouts are the same, or very similar, in CS2 and CS:GO, so these names carry over from the older game.

T side and the B approach
  • T Spawn: the initial spawn point for the Terrorist side at the start of each round.
  • Alley: the area close to T spawn with openings to middle and the B side.
  • Ruins: between B Long and T Spawn. It gives easy access to both top mid and the B bombsite.
  • Top Mid: the T side of Middle, reached while heading towards Bridge.
  • B Long: the ground between the B bombsite and Ruins. The main entrance to the site.
  • Gate: the large archway into the B bombsite from B Long.
  • Ivy: the small area outside Gate, on the opposite side of the archway from Ruins. Named for the vegetation on the wall above.
  • Heaven: the elevated area inside Ruins, used to watch CTs pushing B Long.
  • Stairs: the descending stairs from Alley into the Water and Canal area. The quickest route to Canal from T spawn.
B bombsite
  • Pillar: one of the two pillars in the B bombsite. Usually the close right pillar as you enter from B Long. The other one is usually called Back Site.
  • Default: the most common bomb planting spot on B. Ts plant on the side facing Gate, hidden from CTs watching from Street.
  • E Box: the indoor section near Pillar that connects Middle to the B bombsite.
  • B Site: the whole central region of the B bombsite, surrounded by B Pillar, Gate, Ninja and Back Site.
  • Back Site: the part of the B bombsite not visible from Gate, with two large pillars.
  • Ninja: the small hidden corner next to Back Site. Check it before you plant at B.
  • Corner: the close left triangular area as you enter the B bombsite from Long or Gate.
Water, Canal and the middle
  • Water: the lower central region of the map, named for the body of water there.
  • Arches: the section in the canal and water region with two rounded archways leading towards A.
  • Wood: the small corner near the Boat, marked by wooden flooring next to a closed door.
  • Bridge: the long pathway in the middle of the map leading to Double Doors. It sits above Water and Canal.
  • Double Doors: the two doors in the middle of the map, plus the short stairs up to Bridge.
  • Palace: the large indoor area with an Egyptian statue that connects B Site to Middle and T Spawn. CTs use it as a safe rotation route.
  • Middle: the large central region on the CT side of Double Doors.
  • Upper: the area above Drop, used by Ts to take Water safely.
  • Drop: the area in Boat that Ts use to drop from T Side Upper into Canal.
  • Boat: the water-filled area next to the Canal, with entry to A through Main, Water and T Upper.
A bombsite and the CT side
  • Street: the long pathway below Sniper leading to B Site from CT Spawn. It also enters Cave.
  • Sniper: the elevated standing area with a clear view of Ts crossing to B Site from Gate.
  • Cave: the cavernous walkway from CT Spawn towards the B side.
  • A Connector: the narrow walkway from Middle to A Site, mostly used by CTs.
  • Plateau: the open area reached after A Connector, before A Heaven.
  • CT Spawn: the initial spawn point for the Counter-Terrorist side.
  • Heaven: the elevated platform in A Site, used to watch Ts entering from Main. This is the second callout called Heaven on the map. The first is the one inside Ruins.
  • Main: the area between the A bombsite and Water. The most common entrance to A for Ts.
  • Headshot: the angle behind a couple of boxes, used to hold CTs pushing from A towards Water through Main.
  • Tunnel: the narrow indoor region leading to A Heaven from CT Spawn.
  • Fountain: the raised area with a fountain beside a pillar, directly in front of A Main.
  • A Site: the region around a pillar that looks like a truncated tree trunk, in the middle of the A bombsite.
  • Beach: the isolated area behind CT spawn, marked by a sandy beach with a boat on it.
  • Back Site (A): the area towards the CT side of the A bombsite, next to a gated door.
Two names that appear twice

Heaven and Back Site are each used twice on Anubis. The B-side Heaven sits inside Ruins and the A-side Heaven is the platform above A Site. Back Site without a letter means the B bombsite area, and Back Site (A) is the one next to the gated door on A. Saying "Back Site" in a match is ambiguous, so add the letter.

Total CS lists 383 callout names across eight maps and flags Cobblestone and Train as CS:GO only. Anubis is not one of them.
