1|CS2 Overpass callouts: the 46 names on the map, what each one means, and the order to learn them in\n2|\n3|Overpass is a bomb defusal map set in Germany, and one of the rare popular maps in CS2 that was added to this version of the game only, rather than being carried over from older Counter-Strike versions. As most maps are, Overpass is seen as a map where the Counter Terrorist side has the advantage. Its multi-layered structure means some of the callouts are very key to get correct, so it's worth brushing up on your knowledge here! This map and the callouts are the same (or very similar) in both CS2 and CS:GO. Hover over locations on the interactive map below to view detailed descriptions for all Overpass callouts. Alternatively, search the callouts table at the bottom of this page to find information about a specific callout.\n4|\n5|A Site\n6|
  • \n7|
  • A Site: the entire region between A Short, A Ramp and Double. This is where the bomb can be planted on A.\n8|
  • A Short: right by the entrance to the A Site where Mid tails off and turns into A Short, coming right to the stairs that mark the entrance onto A.\n9|
  • Bank: at the back of the A Bombsite, which has an exit that gives vision over much of the A Bombsite and is right next to a dumpster for cover.\n10|
  • Bench: the bench opposite Cafe, on the other side of the wall to Long Toilets.\n11|
  • Bins: at the back of the A Bombsite that connect to Snipers and B. These come out right to a dumpster, so you may hear that call also.\n12|
  • Cafe: the cafe sign opposite bench, on the other side of the wall to Long Toilets.\n13|
  • Close Left (Long): the small corner next to the exit of A Long onto the A Site that can be hidden behind.\n14|
  • Default (A): the default plant spot on the A Bombsite, which is just between the two green boxes opposite the entrance to the site when coming from Mid.\n15|
  • Electric Box: the large rectangular box placed between CT Spawn and B Site. It is a useful spot for cover when retaking B Site.\n16|
  • Fence: the raised area next to Ramp and opposite A Site. CTs can use it to get a quick view of Dark and to spot A Site pushes early on.\n17|
  • Flowers: the flowerbed located to the left of Toilets as you approach the A Bombsite. Can be headcamped by players so a useful call to know.\n18|
  • Graffiti: the small, boxed-off corner at the back of B. Players can be boosted from here to give them a viewpoint of Construction / Water.\n19|
  • Heaven: the raised metal platform that provides a complete vantage point to watch B from.\n20|
  • Long Boost: the flowerbed that can be boosted up onto, or reached with a skillful jump from the bench next to it. It provides good vision onto the A Site and can catch CT players off guard.\n21|
  • Long Toilets: the long set of Toilets / Restrooms that run from Mid all the way to the entrance of A.\n22|
  • Monster: the tunnel that leads directly into B from T Spawn.\n23|
  • Optimus: the truck to the right side of the A Site when approaching from Mid or A Long.\n24|
  • Party: the platform next to Toilets that is decorated with picnic benches and balloons.\n25|
  • Pit: the dark area behind the B Bombsite that is covered in water. Dropping onto the Site from Heaven will have you landing in Pit.\n26|
  • Rock: this Rock is located on A Long, and is the first thing an enemy could be hiding behind when pushing Long as a T.\n27|
  • Sewers: the area you will come out onto if you approach the B Site from Monster.\n28|
  • Squeaky: the door at the end of Connector that leads onto Construction / Water.\n29|
  • Tree: the Tree is located to the left of A Long, close to the Long Toilets area, and can be hidden behind by players to make them invisible when an enemy first checks Long from Playground side. The Tree can be wallbanged.\n30|
  • T Spawn: the bottom of the map where the Terrorists spawn. It has Stairs, Toilets and a quick route towards Bridge.\n31|
\n32|\n33|B Site\n34|
  • \n35|
  • B Site: the region between Electric Box, Catwalk and Back B. This is where the bomb can be planted on B.\n36|
  • Back B: the corner of B Site that connects to Catwalk. It has a tall metal post that can be used as cover.\n37|
  • Big Box: the large wooden crate placed between A Ramp and Bridge. It is useful cover for Ts checking A Ramp for CTs.\n38|
  • Catwalk: the platform that extends out from the main building and connects to Back B and B Stairs. Players can be shot from below if an enemy is playing from Under Stairs.\n39|
  • Close Left (Long): the small corner next to the exit of A Long onto the A Site that can be hidden behind.\n40|
  • Connector: the Connector that leads from Lower Tunnels up to outside Toilets on the A side of the map.\n41|
  • CT Spawn: a different call to most maps, as this doesn't usually refer to the CT Spawn, which is on the A Bombsite. This call usually points to there being players at the back of A, in the stairwalls and tunnels that snake between Snipers, Stairs and Bank.\n42|
  • Default (A): the default plant spot on the A Bombsite, which is just between the two green boxes opposite the entrance to the site when coming from Mid.\n43|
  • Graffiti: the small, boxed-off corner at the back of B. Players can be boosted from here to give them a viewpoint of Construction / Water.\n44|
  • Heaven: the raised metal platform that provides a complete vantage point to watch B from.\n45|
  • Pit: the dark area behind the B Bombsite that is covered in water.\n46|
  • Sewers: the area you will come out onto if you approach the B Site from Monster.\n47|
  • Squeaky: the door at the end of Connector that leads onto Construction / Water.\n48|
  • Tree: the Tree is located to the left of A Long, close to the Long Toilets area.\n49|
\n50|\n51|Mid\n52|
  • \n53|
  • Mid: the large middle area of the map. It gives access to CT Spawn, to B Site through Connector, and to A Site through Elevator.\n54|
  • Iron: the collection of metal rods placed between Mid and T Mid.\n55|
  • Ladder: the ladder that gives players access to T Mid from near Underpass. It is one of the quickest ways to change floors on the map.\n56|
  • Mid: the area of the map next to Toilets, Party and the exit of Connector.\n57|
  • Playground: the fenced-off Playground area, behind Fountain and directly opposite the exit of Upper Tunnels when approaching A from T Spawn.\n58|
  • T Mid: the area of Mid closest to T Spawn. It is the route Ts typically use when taking Mid.\n59|
\n60|\n61|T Spawn\n62|
  • \n63|
  • T Stairs: the stairs Ts use when they are looking to access T Mid.\n64|
  • Stairs: the set of stairs placed in T Spawn, giving Ts access to Generator and to the second level of the map.\n65|

  • Generator: part of the raised region in T Spawn, giving Ts access to T Mid.\n67|
  • T Spawn: the area of the map where the Terrorist side spawns. It has Stairs, Toilets and a quick route towards Bridge.\n68|
