Valve's July 8, 2026 Counter-Strike 2 update began Premier Season 5, added Cache to Active Duty, and removed Overpass from Active Duty. It also changed C4 explosions so that damage follows precalculated map simulations and the damaging shockwave expands rapidly from the explosion instead of being applied instantly.

The Armory additions

The update added Auto Racing and Fruits & Vegetables as sticker collections in the Armory. Valve described them as collections, not sticker capsules. The Armory also received the Spy Tech and Arabesque weapon collections.

The same rotation removed the Train 2025 and Sport & Field weapon collections, along with the Sugarface 2 and Elemental Craft sticker collections, from the Armory.

Valve also increased sticker-rotation precision on the application screen to half-degree increments, providing finer control over sticker orientation.

Editorial craft directions

These are visual suggestions rather than claims about particular sticker finishes, prices, or weapon compatibility:
  • Build a motorsport-inspired layout by arranging Auto Racing designs like a sequence of sponsor graphics.
  • Mix several Fruits & Vegetables designs for a playful produce theme.
  • Use one visually dominant sticker as the focal point and quieter designs as supporting elements.
  • Match sticker colors to two prominent colors on the selected weapon finish.
  • Compare symmetrical and deliberately staggered placements before committing to a layout.

The official announcement and release notes do not establish the sticker formats, individual market prices, or Armory redemption costs, so those details are intentionally omitted.
